Green tea is an unfermented product obtained from the leaves of Camellia sinensis and is a famous drink especially in the Southern-Eastern countries of Asia. The major chemical constituents of green tea are epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG), epigallocatechin, epicatechin gallate, and epicatechin.
